If you're thinking more casseroles, don't forget about mac-n-cheese. And I'm not sure anything is more American than pizza. Have a great time! I could see how that would be a bit pricey though! So, I think the chicken pot pie idea is your next best bet. BBQ spare ribs are also traditionally American. If you can get corn on the cob, do it! American cuisine is pretty hard to do seeings we are the melting pot of the world. We in general encompass all cultures in our foods. Fried chicken, green beans, corn, macaroni pie, veggie mix, cabbage with cornbread. This is american cooking to me. Not spaghetti, that's italian. you could use some bought mixes like potatoes julienne, ham,. deviled eggs and baked beans. Biscuits if anyone can make them, yeast rolls even better.
